AOC’s Among Us Twitch stream hit over 435,000 viewers

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went live on Twitch to stream Among Us last night and her stream peaked at 435,000 viewers, not counting other streamers in the game including Dr. Lupo and Pokimane. The purpose of the stream was to encourage viewers to vote as we get into the general election.

This puts AOC’s Among Us stream among the biggest streams ever on Twitch. It is now among the top five of most concurrent viewers but Ninja’s Fortnite stream with Drake with 600,000 concurrent viewers still keeps the record.

The popular multiplayer social deduction game of InnerSloth surpassed 120 million lifetime downloads and generated around $11 million from player spendings last month.

According to an article YouTube Trends shared last week, Among Us videos on Youtube were viewed over 4 billion times in September.
