WhatsApp is testing different playback speeds of voice messages on iOS. With the version 2.21.60.11, which is not ready yet for the public, you will be able to listen to the voice messages by speeding up them 1.5x and 2.0x, as well as the normal speed.
According to the screenshots revealed by WABetaInfo, the speed at which the voice message is listened to is indicated in the lower right corner when the feature is used. WhatsApp is also working on three different playback speeds for voice messages for Android.

WABetaInfo also announced that WhatsApp will also offer a WhatsApp Web Beta program for Android and iOS beta users to use WhatsApp Web without having to keep their phone connected to the internet.
Last week, WhatsApp announced that it will no longer work iPhone 4S and require iOS 10 or later for full functionality.Â
