Instagram, one of the most popular social media applications in the world, is trying to keep itself alive with many updates and innovations. Some recent changes in the application aim to provide a new experience by making Instagram different from what it is.
A few months ago, Instagram announced a feature that would hide the number of likes. With this update, the likes of a post will be shown only to owner of the post. Now, the company announced that this feature will be tested in the US as soon as next week.

The update, which will make Instagram a more personal platform, is currently being tested in 7 countries. Tested in Canada, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, the feature will soon be tested in the United States, and the next step will be to test the feature in countries all over the world.
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri said that this feature would be accessible only in certain states of the country. After Instagram’s attempt to hide likes, Facebook also decided to join him and began testing hiding likes in Australia.
