Microsoft and Nintendo partner to bring Minecraft to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Tech giants Microsoft and Nintendo have teamed up to bring Minecraft’s Steve and Alex to the popular crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch system. The news comes months after Min Min from Arms joined the Fighter Pass Vol. 2 DLC which you can get for $29.99.

Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of the Super Smash Bros. series, shared a Youtube video yesterday and announced that Minecraft’s Steve and Alex are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch System.

Users are going to play as Steve and Alex and they will be able to swap to Endermand or a Zombie. Nintendo also said that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will include a new stage with 7 music tracks from the Minecraft series.

While the official release date hasn’t been announced yet, Masahiro Sakurai is going to share another video on October 3 (at 7:30 a.m. PDT) revealing more details about Steve and Alex, including the release date.
