Tilting Point has introduced a substantial $150 million fund designed to support game developers in scaling their titles through user acquisition (UA). Unlike traditional publishing agreements, the initiative provides non-dilutive cash flow and marketing assistance while allowing developers to retain full control over their projects.
Having previously launched similar UA funding programs in 2016 and 2018, Tilting Point claims to have successfully expanded the reach of over 200 games across various genres and platforms. This latest fund is expected to build upon that track record, offering new opportunities for developers looking to amplify their audience.
Among the first recipients of the fund are Mythical Games, known for its innovative gaming technology, early learning company Begin, and an undisclosed web-based gaming platform that has yet to be revealed.
Tilting Point also highlighted several past collaborations that led to significant revenue growth for developers. According to the company, Loop Games’ Match 3D experienced a staggering 30-fold revenue increase, with monthly spending jumping from $500,000 to $11 million. Similarly, Joycity’s Gunship Battle saw its annual player spending double to $40 million. Haiku Games also benefited from the partnership, with Adventure Escape Mysteries achieving a sixfold revenue surge, and securing a deal to integrate Hasbro’s Clue IP into its offerings.
Asi Burak, Tilting Point’s chief business officer, emphasized the company’s unique approach to UA funding. “We pioneered the concept of a UA fund like this, and its success comes from our core philosophy: offering truly unlimited and flexible spending while giving developers full control over their level of engagement with Tilting Point.”
He further noted that strategic investments in promising games have been instrumental in the company’s growth, fostering some of its most impactful partnerships.
