Siri Saved The Life Of A Teenager From Icy River

Apple’s digital assistant has once again proved itself. This time, Siri played an important role in rescuing a young man whose vehicle fell into an icy river.

Siri not only helps people to have fun and find what they want easier but also saves lives in emergency situations. Apple’s digital assistant, who is almost the boss of the industry, once again made a difference and saved a life.

Gael Salcedo, an 18-year-old college student, crashed his Jeep car into an ice floe on his way to school. Then Salcedo lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle fell into an icy river.

The river prevented the driver from opening the door and the rising water level had left him in a difficult position. At that point, Salcedo didn’t remember where his phone was. Then he told Siri to call 911.

Later, with intensive efforts and with the help of Siri,  medical teams and firefighters reached the scene and the young person’s life was saved.
