Social media company Reddit announced that Horizon Media, PMG and Wpromote are joining its Independent Agency Program as official partners, and that it has renewed its partnership with Tinuiti who joined the program last year.

As part of the Independent Agency Program, with which Reddit aims to scale its ad business for particularly small businesses, the partners and their clients will get access to various perks that Reddit normally offers to its customers at the holding company level, including advanced ad measurement tools, bespoke insights, as well as the opportunity to test its new advertising products. In addition, Reddit’s in-house creative agency KarmaLab will also support the partners with their dedicated consultants, the company said in a blog post.

Commenting on the partnerships, Reddit’s Chief Revenue Officer Harold Klaje said: ‘’Independent agencies are an extremely valuable and influential part of the wider agency mix, representing clients of all kinds and sizes which is increasingly important for Reddit as we continue to scale our advertising business, particularly our mid-market and small business segments. As our partnerships with all of the agency Holding Companies continue to strengthen and deepen, it’s exciting to see Reddit’s Independent Agency Program also grow to include this prestigious group of companies. These official partnerships will ensure Tinuiti, Horizon, PMG, and Wpromote’s clients have access to the best of what Reddit offers.’’

Carly Carson, PMG’s Head of Integrated Media, said: “We’ve been working closely with Reddit over time to provide our clients bespoke, insights-driven opportunities they can’t get elsewhere, so partnering officially was a natural next step for us. Combining our media expertise with Reddit’s unique offerings and robust data set ensures we can stay ahead of platform trends and drive the strongest results for our brand partners.

Earlier this year, sources familiar with the matter told The Information that Reddit is planning to go public in the second half of 2023.
