Last week, major global companies revealed their earning releases for the third quarter of 2020. Spotify reported an increase of 27% year-over-year to 144 million, while Mark Zuckerberg said WhatsApp is now delivering roughly 100 billion messages every day. 

On gaming side, Genshin Impact, MiHoYo’s “Breath of the Wild” inspired title, hit $245 million in player spending during its first month, making it one of the biggest mobile game launches ever. 

When it comes to major product updates, Tinder launched face-to-face video calling feature globally while Twitter started showing two large prompts about election misinformation.

Facebook Gaming Launches Cloud-Streamed Games On Android And Web

Facebook has released an article on its official blog and announced the launch of several cloud-streamed games in its Facebook Gaming app and on the web including Asphalt 9: Legends, Mobile Legends: Adventure and more which users will be able to play instantly without having to download them. 

VSPN secures $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Tencent

E-sports, one of the fastest growing fields of our day, appears with new news worldwide. VSPN (Versus Programming Network), a China-based esports total solutions provider, announced that it has raised ‘close to’ $100 million in a Series B funding round. The funding round was led by Tencent, one of China’s tech giants. 

PlayStation Launches Its Updated Mobile App With Enhanced Features

PlayStation’s updated mobile app has been launched worldwide with new and enhanced features to improve the user experience with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
