Spotify Now Lets You Find Songs By Typing In Lyrics

Popular digital music streaming app Spotify has rolled out a new feature on both Android and iOS to allow its users to find songs by typing in lyrics. The feature which Apple Music has offered since 2018 will let you find the name of the song stuck in your head in just seconds.

Spotify, one of the most popular music streaming apps with over 4 billion playlists, 60 million tracks and 1.5 million podcast titles available in 92 countries, has released a very useful feature that will help you a lot if you’re bad at remembering song names.

To use the new feature, all you need to do is to type in some keywords or lines and the app will show you the songs which might be what you’re looking for with the ”Lyrics Match” tag.

This is not the first lyrics-related feature rolled out by Spotify this year. In June, the company launched a real-time song lyrics feature in 26 markets across Latin America, Southern Asia and India.
