The Google Play Store Won’t Show Update Notifications Anymore

Android users will no longer be able to receive notifications from the Play Store about app updates. Google has not received good reactions, saying that this change is intentional not a mistake.

Recently, many Android users have complained that they have not received any app update notifications from the Play Store. At first it was thought to be caused by a mistake. But Google announced that this change was made intentionally.

The technology giant said that the goal is to save users from the ocean of notifications. The same strategy was used for the Chrome browser before.

Android users will no longer be able to receive notifications for app updates. Play Store will continue to show notifications while updating apps, but these notifications will disappear after the update process is completed. So, it looks like your apps will continue to remain up to date.
