Philadelphia-based private equity firm Inverness Graham has acquired marketing data and analytics company Alliant, for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 2004, Alliant will continue to operate as an independent entity under the guidance of Inverness Graham, enhancing its focus on providing high-performing, cross-channel audience targeting solutions.
Central to Alliant’s capabilities is its advanced DataHub, which aggregates transaction data from over 130 member brands and 400 sub-brands. This expansive data resource, encompassing over three billion consumer purchase transactions, allows Alliant to deliver unmatched insights that power campaigns across digital, social, addressable TV, email, and direct mail channels. Alliant’s independence ensures continuity for its clients and opens doors for growth, especially in the areas of data science and technology.
Michael Morrissey, Managing Principal at Inverness Graham, commented on the acquisition’s strategic fit: “Alliant is uniquely positioned to drive customization in consumer engagement, and our goal is to strengthen its co-op model by fostering greater collaboration within the member network. We see tremendous potential in expanding Alliant’s data and technology assets, and our commitment includes honoring Alliant’s robust data governance practices.”
The acquisition sets the stage for Alliant to broaden its data offerings and technology investments, including innovative products like a suite of syndicated audiences and custom targeting solutions for consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertisers. With these resources, brands can access over 2,600 syndicated audiences and activate campaigns on over 400 programmatic platforms, ensuring their advertisements reach relevant audiences with precision and efficiency.
Alliant CEO JoAnne Monfradi Dunn expressed her enthusiasm for this new partnership: “Joining forces with Inverness Graham allows us to not only sustain but accelerate our growth in the programmatic and CTV sectors. With this partnership, we aim to further develop our data co-op, deliver more value to our members, and expand our impact on the advertising landscape.”
Looking forward, Inverness Graham and Alliant will actively seek out strategic partnerships and acquisitions in the marketing data and analytics space. Both companies are focused on enhancing consumer engagement with cutting-edge data solutions and innovative marketing technology.
Alliant has established itself as a trusted partner to thousands of brands and agencies by offering a human-centered approach to modern data solutions. Through the Alliant DataHub, built on billions of consumer transactions and advanced data science, Alliant enables marketers to engage consumers effectively across multiple channels while upholding strict standards for data security and privacy.
