The Stories feature that Snapchat first announced attracted great attention and was later added to Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and even YouTube. Now it’s time for LinkedIn. Recently, officials have confirmed that the Stories feature is coming soon to LinkedIn.
The Stories feature that you can see on almost every social media platform like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and WhatsApp are coming to LinkedIn too. LinkedIn, which is an environment where professionals come together and users meet with employers, is getting ready to offer the Stories feature to its users. LinkedIn Stories is expected to be available in the coming months.
So, we’re currently testing LinkedIn Stories internally, and we can’t wait to test it with our members in the coming months. We’ve learned so much already about the unique possibilities of Stories in a professional context. For example, the sequencing of the Stories format is great for sharing key moments from work events, the full-screen narrative style makes it easy to share tips and tricks that help us work smarter, and the way Stories opens up new messaging threads makes it easier for someone to say, “and by the way… I noticed you know Linda, could you introduce me?”
