Popular messaging service WhatsApp will soon add multi-device support to enable users use the app simultaneously on different devices, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed to WaBetaInfo.
âItâs been a big technical challenge to get all your messages and content to sync properly across devices even when your phone battery dies, but weâve solved this and weâre looking forward to getting it out soon!â Zuckerberg said.
The long-awaited support will allow users to connect up to 4 devices to the same WhatsApp Account, said WhatsApp Head Will Wathcart. He also announced that theyâre working on iPad support.

In November last year, WhatsApp started rolling out ââdisappearing messagesââ which vanish 7 days after being sent. The company will soon expand the feature with a new ââView Onceââ option.
âWeâre also about to start rolling out âview once,â so you can send content and have it disappear after the person sees it,â Zuckerberg said.
In addition, the company will also add a ââdisappearing modeââ which will automatically turn on disappearing messages in all your threats.
Zuckerberg and Cathcart announced that WhatsApp Beta users will get access to the new features ââin the next month or twoââ.
