Popular messaging service WhatsApp will soon add multi-device support to enable users use the app simultaneously on different devices, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed to WaBetaInfo.
“It’s been a big technical challenge to get all your messages and content to sync properly across devices even when your phone battery dies, but we’ve solved this and we’re looking forward to getting it out soon!” Zuckerberg said.
The long-awaited support will allow users to connect up to 4 devices to the same WhatsApp Account, said WhatsApp Head Will Wathcart. He also announced that they’re working on iPad support.

In November last year, WhatsApp started rolling out ‘’disappearing messages’’ which vanish 7 days after being sent. The company will soon expand the feature with a new ‘’View Once’’ option.
“We’re also about to start rolling out ‘view once,’ so you can send content and have it disappear after the person sees it,” Zuckerberg said.
In addition, the company will also add a ‘’disappearing mode’’ which will automatically turn on disappearing messages in all your threats.
Zuckerberg and Cathcart announced that WhatsApp Beta users will get access to the new features ‘’in the next month or two’’.
