AI startup AdsGency secures $12M to automate the entire ad workflow

San Francisco–based startup AdsGency has raised $12 million in seed funding to expand its engineering and product teams as it launches what it calls the first “agentic” advertising platform. The funding round was led by XYZ Venture Capital, with participation from Streamlined Ventures, HF0, and Hat-Trick Capital.

Founded in 2023 by Bolbi Liu, AdsGency uses large language models (LLMs) and AI agents to automate nearly every aspect of digital advertising — from audience targeting and creative generation to campaign optimization and reporting. The platform integrates directly with major ad networks including Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit, while connecting to enterprise systems such as Snowflake and Salesforce for real-time analytics.

The company aims to simplify a fragmented advertising ecosystem, where brands typically juggle multiple tools for creative production, attribution, and performance tracking. AdsGency’s unified system is designed to replace traditional agencies and complex ad stacks with a single platform capable of autonomous decision-making and optimization.

Current clients include TAL Education, Halliday, Pika, and Mobvoi. According to AdsGency, these partners have seen performance gains ranging from a 3× to 13× return on ad spend, along with major improvements in revenue growth and cost efficiency.

Investors describe AdsGency’s approach as an alternative to conventional agency models that rely heavily on manual work and disconnected tools. The platform’s underlying agentic architecture combines proprietary models, multimodal content generation, and automated cross-channel execution to deliver results in hours rather than weeks.

With the new capital, AdsGency plans to expand its global engineering team and accelerate development of its AI-driven ad orchestration technology. The company’s goal is to redefine how advertisers plan, launch, and scale campaigns by making fully autonomous marketing systems accessible to organizations of all sizes.
