Android 10 Now Supports All Console Controllers

Bluetooth support for the Nintendo Switch Pro controller has been added to the Android Open Source Project. Thus, Android 10 now supports all game console controllers.

We have good news for Android users who want to play games with their console’s control devices. Android 10 now supports all console controllers, offering users a wide range of options. The Android Open Source Project now includes Bluetooth support for the Switch Pro controller.

If you’re using Android 10, you can press the pairing button next to the USB-C port of your Switch Pro controller device and connect it from your Android Bluetooth menu. If you add the controller as a trusted device in your Android settings, you can even unlock the screen after pairing.

With the addition of Switch Pro, Android 10 now supports all first-party console controllers. DualShock 4 (which can be used as a touchpad mouse), Xbox One S and Xbox Elite were already supported by Android. You can also take advantage of the prominent third-party controllers.

Featured games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty Mobile, SEGA Forever games, Crossy Road, Evoland 1 and 2, Stardew Valley, Horizon Chase support all controllers.

Alternatively, you can also use the PS4’s Remote Play application with DualShock 4 on the Android platform to play games on your console.
