Tech giant Apple seems to be getting ready for the release of its long-awaited standalone classical music app named ”Apple Music Classical”
Mentions of the new music service in Apple’s backend code were discovered by a Twitter user called Aaron, signalling that we could see it on the App Store pretty soon.
Apple first announced the service when it acquired classical music streaming service Primephonic in August 2021. At the time, the company said that it was planning to launch a dedicated classical music app other than Apple Music in 2022, ‘’combining Primephonic’s classical user interface that fans have grown to love with more added features.’’

While there are three months left until the end of 2022, no official statement has yet been shared by the company regarding the launch of the application.
However, the new mentions spotted in Apple’s backend code could be a sign of an upcoming launch.
