Netflix games are coming to all Android subscribers

Netflix, which started to offer two different Stranger Things games to users in Poland in August, now offers the game tab to Android subscribers all over the world.

The company, which started testing Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3 games on the Android app in Poland in August, acquired Oxenfree developer Night School Studio in September.

Starting today, Netflix subscribers around the world on Android will be able to play five mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop). 

When users log in to the Netflix app on their Android mobile device and log in to the profile, they will see a dedicated game row and games tab where they can choose any game to download.

Members using an Android tablet will see a dedicated games row. In addition, they will be able to select the games to download and play from the Categories drop down menu.

There is no ads and in-app purchases within the games which will be included with users’ Netflix membership, with no additional cost. Subscribers will also be able to play mobile games on multiple mobile devices on the same account. If you hit the device limit, the app will notify you so you will be able to log out of unused devices or disable them remotely via the browser.

By the way, the games tab will not be available on kids profiles. Netflix says If you have set up a PIN to prevent your children from accessing adult profiles, you should use the same PIN to log into Netflix and play games on a device.

You can also play games offline. However, some of the games may require an internet connection. The company also states that it will continue to improve the mobile gaming experience in the coming months.
