87% of Gen Z is now increasingly using mobile apps with interactive live video streaming and video calling features.
That’s according to California-based real time engagement platform Agora’s latest study for which the company surveyed more than 1,000 Gen Z respondents in the United States in August to understand how engaged the generation is with the RTE technology
62% of respondents said they tried at least one interactive live audio streaming app over the last year and 70% said they would prefer e-commerce brands to offer AR & VR features in their apps so that they can test their products at home before purchasing them.

In addition, 63% of respondents said that front-facing AR filters, which are currently offered by many of the top social media platforms, are essential to keep them interested.
Meanwhile, nearly 70% said interactive audio and video streaming features are important for their gaming experiences.
