Zenni Optical, America’s largest online eyewear retailer, has named Yodel Mobile by NP Digital as its new app marketing partner to spearhead a full-funnel mobile growth strategy aimed at expanding Zenni’s U.S. app audience.
Founded in 2003, Zenni has disrupted the eyewear industry by making stylish, high-quality vision care affordable and accessible to millions worldwide. Now, with mobile playing an ever-growing role in direct-to-consumer retail, the company plans to double down on its app as a primary channel for growth.
Yodel Mobile, a London-based agency specializing in end-to-end mobile marketing, will lead Zenni’s efforts across app store optimization (ASO), user acquisition, creative strategy, paid media, and retention and engagement tactics for both iOS and Android. The partnership was awarded following a competitive pitch process.
“We were very impressed with the Yodel Mobile team throughout the entire RFP process,” said Amanda Beamish, Head of Performance Marketing at Zenni Optical. “They provided thoughtful, tailored strategic recommendations that aligned with our vision to become the leading app-based eyewear retailer in the U.S.”
Mick Rigby, CEO of Yodel Mobile, said the collaboration is a perfect match for the agency’s data-led, results-driven approach. “As a company that lives and breathes mobile growth, we immediately saw the opportunity in Zenni’s app. Turning data into actionable growth can be complex, and we’re excited to help Zenni unlock its next phase of mobile success,” Rigby said.
Yodel Mobile has grown steadily in recent years, expanding its global footprint and client roster. Acquired by NP Digital in April 2025, the agency has strengthened its offering in full-funnel mobile marketing and won accolades such as App Marketing Agency of the Year and a spot on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 list. The agency’s portfolio includes brands like Gymshark, UKTV, B&Q, and TUI.
Zenni’s mobile push builds on its broader brand momentum — the retailer is also the official eyewear partner of major sports teams and entertainment franchises, including the San Francisco 49ers, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Monster Jam, and Ghost Gaming.
With Yodel Mobile’s support, Zenni aims to translate its strong brand recognition and direct-to-consumer success into a market-leading mobile presence — giving millions more Americans an affordable, app-powered way to shop for eyewear.
