Mirakl acquires adtech company Adspert

Ecommerce software solutions company Mirakl has announced the acquisition of Adspert, a German adtech company specializing in AI-driven advertising optimization for eCommerce platforms. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This strategic move marks Mirakl’s third acquisition in as many years, further cementing its position as a leader in eCommerce technology and retail media innovation. With the integration of Adspert’s cutting-edge AI solutions, Mirakl aims to empower brands and sellers to maximize advertising impact while unlocking new revenue streams.

Adspert, founded in 2010, has earned a reputation for optimizing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns on major marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. Its predictive AI technology delivers advanced insights and automated ad bidding, helping businesses streamline operations and enhance Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). With this acquisition, Adspert’s team of 30 will join Mirakl, enabling the combined company to offer unmatched solutions for eCommerce advertising and marketplace management.

Mirakl has been the backbone of numerous global marketplaces, providing eCommerce software solutions that power leading brands like Carrefour, Best Buy, and Leroy Merlin. While the company initially focused on enabling third-party marketplace functionality, its evolution into retail media highlights its ambition to redefine the eCommerce landscape. Mirakl Ads, the company’s proprietary advertising platform, already supports over 20 clients, allowing them to monetize eCommerce traffic effectively.

With Adspert in the fold, Mirakl strengthens its demand-side offerings. Adspert’s AI-driven tools enable advertisers to analyze campaign performance, adjust bidding strategies, and simulate potential outcomes. These capabilities ensure greater transparency and efficiency, giving brands a competitive edge in dynamic marketplaces. Moreover, Adspert’s technology supports campaign automation, optimizing bid adjustments and ad placements in real time, ultimately driving better results for both advertisers and marketplace operators.
