GameRamp secures $5.4M to expand AI-powered publishing tools for mobile developers

GameRamp, a San Francisco and Bengaluru-based AI-native publishing platform for mobile games and consumer apps, has raised $5.4 million in pre-seed funding to expand its engineering and artificial intelligence teams and fast-track the launch of two new developer-facing services.

The round was led by BITKRAFT Ventures, with participation from South Park Commons, Mixi, DeVC, and several global angel investors. The capital will be used to bolster GameRamp’s presence in the United States and India, while accelerating development on two core services: Sentinel and Grow.

Sentinel is an AI-driven personalization platform that uses reinforcement learning to tailor in-game economies and monetization strategies in real-time. Grow, meanwhile, acts as an embedded financing tool, offering developers near-instant access to capital to support scaling efforts.

Co-founded by Vivek Ramachandran and Sashank Vandrangi, GameRamp positions itself as a fully automated publishing operating system for the next generation of mobile titles. Its technology aims to simplify how developers deploy, iterate, and optimize monetization, allowing teams to focus more on product quality while AI handles performance tuning.

“Scaling new apps or games has become increasingly hyper-competitive,” said Ramachandran, GameRamp’s CEO. “Developers need to be best-in-class in a variety of domains beyond the core game itself. AI allows us to not only improve traditional processes but also unlock a new level of experimentation and insight.”

According to the company, early partners in Vietnam, India, and Türkiye have already reported strong improvements in performance, with revenue uplifts of 40–60% attributed to the use of GameRamp’s systems.

BITKRAFT Ventures Partner Anuj Tandon noted that GameRamp’s team blends deep expertise in machine learning, product growth, and investing — qualities that made the startup stand out during the fund’s search for emerging market leaders. “Their focus on developer outcomes is clear from the early traction and strong engagement from users,” said Tandon. “They’re poised to change how consumer internet entrepreneurs operate in emerging markets.”

With mobile gaming continuing to grow globally, GameRamp’s bet on AI-powered publishing arrives at a time when developers are seeking tools that go beyond traditional monetization frameworks. The company’s upcoming global launch could further extend its footprint among studios looking for more adaptive and data-driven solutions.
