Incubeta, a global digital marketing agency, has acquired RocketSource, a consultancy specializing in data-driven customer behavior analysis and AI frameworks. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
RocketSource, founded in 2017, works with brands to define business goals, identify market opportunities, and optimize customer engagement. Its offerings include Data-as-a-Service (DaaS), growth consulting, and digital experience design. In recent years, the company developed proprietary AI automation and sequencing frameworks, which help structure client data and apply predictive analytics to guide marketing strategies.
Through the acquisition, RocketSource will be fully integrated into Incubeta’s operations. Its co-founders, Jonathan Greene and Steven Kiger, along with the consultancy’s team of fewer than 50 employees, will join Incubeta, which operates with more than 800 staff across 18 offices worldwide.
According to Incubeta executives, the acquisition aims to address structural challenges in the advertising industry, where automation and artificial intelligence are reshaping traditional agency models. By combining RocketSource’s frameworks with Incubeta’s existing marketing and technology services, the company plans to enhance its ability to deliver cross-channel strategies supported by unified data and analytics.
The timing of the deal aligns with broader shifts in marketing and advertising, as businesses seek ways to manage both the opportunities and the disruptions posed by AI. Industry analysts note that acquisitions of specialized firms like RocketSource reflect a wider trend of agencies bolstering their technical expertise to meet changing client demands.
