Apple has officially announced the schedule for its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025, which will take place from June 9 to June 13. The event will primarily be held online, with select developers and students invited to attend a special in-person gathering at Apple Park on the opening day.
The conference will commence with the Apple Keynote on Monday, June 9, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The keynote will be streamed live on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and Apple’s official YouTube channel. Following the keynote, the Platforms State of the Union will begin at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time, offering a deeper dive into the latest tools and technologies across Apple’s platforms. This session will be available on the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel.
WWDC 2025 is expected to showcase significant software updates, including iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, iPadOS 19, tvOS 19, and visionOS 3. Notably, iOS 19 is anticipated to feature a substantial design overhaul, with elements inspired by Apple’s Vision Pro headset. However, major upgrades to Siri are unlikely to be a central focus this year, despite previous indications of AI-driven enhancements.
Throughout the week, Apple will offer over 100 technical sessions, providing developers with insights into the latest technologies and frameworks. These sessions will be accessible via the Apple Developer app, website, and YouTube channel. Additionally, Apple Developer Program members will have opportunities to participate in online group labs and one-on-one appointments with Apple experts, covering topics such as design, developer tools, machine learning, and more.
As part of its ongoing support for emerging developers, Apple has recognized 50 Distinguished Winners of the Swift Student Challenge. These individuals will be invited to Apple Park for a special three-day experience during WWDC 2025.
