US-based delivery startup GoPuff, which secured an investment of $ 380 million back in October, is preparing to acquire another London-based delivery startup Fancy Delivery.
GoPuff, which delivers products such as non-prescription medicines, food and beverage, cleaning supplies, baby food and alcohol in less than 30 minutes, is in talks to acquire Fancy Delivery for a purchase agreement, per Techcrunch report based on sources close to the company.
Although no information has been shared regarding the financial details of the deal, the official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
Fancy Delivery, a fairly new company, was founded in London in December 2019. Fancy Delivery, which has a similar working logic to GoPuff, is one of Y Combinator’s graduates in 2020.
GoPuff actively serves 500 cities in the USA, including Philadelphia, Dallas, Miami, Detroit, Minneapolis and Houston and it aims to enter the UK market by acquiring Fancy Delivery. The company has secured $ 1.35 billion so far, and has a valuation of $ 3.9 billion.
