BOOST (BURST) CAMPAIGN

A boost campaign, also known as burst campaign, is a mobile marketing / user acquisition campaign type that focuses on increasing category ranking in a short span of time by driving huge volume of app downloads that boosts the visibility of a mobile app. The main aim is reaching organic app installs by increasing the category ranking and the visibility in overall charts. Boost campaigns drive incentivized traffic and downloads with a small cost in a short time.

Boost campaigns (burst campaigns) are not only for user acquisition but also for testing a new app with real users and for understanding the competitors. This is why it is a common user acquisition campaign type among indie developers and newly launched apps.
