Casual game is a mobile game genre consisting of easy to play games with simple instructions and simple user interface. They have shorter sessions compared to other game categories on app stores. 

Most of the casual games are free-to-play so in the casual game category the main app monetization strategy is in-app purchases. Card games, trivia games, and board games are under the category of casual games.
