TapNation acquires user acquisition and monetization platform UAhero

Paris-based mobile games developer and publisher TapNation has acquired AI-powered user acquisition and monetization platform UAhero, for an undisclosed sum. Through the acquisition, TapNation seeks to strengthen its dominant market presence in mobile gaming by harnessing UAhero’s advanced analytics and industry insights.

As per the terms of the agreement, Istanbul-based UAhero will function as a subsidiary under TapNation.

“We are thrilled to announce our acquisition of UAhero,” said Hervé Montoute, CEO of TapNation. “User acquisition and monetization have always been integral to our success, and this partnership enables us to take our strategies to new heights. With UAhero’s capabilities, we are confident in our ability to reach and engage a wider audience, ultimately driving growth and delivering the best possible gaming experiences.”

TapNation has launched over 100 games, amassing a remarkable 1 billion downloads. In a recent funding round, the company secured €15 million from Re-Sources Capital, Paluel-Marmont Capital, and select banking partners.

UAhero, backed by a $1 million investment from Bogazici Ventures, is a specialized AI-driven company focused on user acquisition and monetization. Its expertise lies in optimizing advertising campaigns for companies in the mobile gaming industry.

“The collaboration between TapNation and UAhero will not only enhance the company’s user acquisition strategies but also streamline operations and improve overall performance by reducing manual interventions,” TapNation said in a statement.
