Moburst acquires digital development firm Layer

US-based mobile marketing agency Moburst announced that it has acquired Israeli development firm Layer. Digital Studio to optimize its digital marketing solutions for both web and mobile platforms. Following the acquisition of which financial terms weren’t disclosed, Layer’s team and customers will join Moburst.

After working closely with Layer on a few projects in the past year, we knew right away that as we expand our offerings, we wanted the Layer team to be a part of it,” said Moburst CEO and founder Gilad Bechar. “They are a talented team and bring a lot of creativity and expertise to the table, which will help us better serve our clients every day.”

Founded in 2015 by Nir Lewinsohn and Ofir Shuv in Israel, Layer is a digital development company providing web & mobile and app development services. Its customers include Nissan, Renault, Egged, Tel-Aviv Yafo, KPMG, Sodexo and Bezeq. 

We worked very closely with the Moburst team on their new website and soon realized that this was not just another agency,” said Layer founders Lewinsohn and Shuv, “We are happy and thrilled to join the Moburst family knowing that together we will build an extraordinary agency that can genuinely serve international clients of all sizes.”

Founded in 2013, Moburst said in its press release that it has grown over 300% in the last two years. The deal follows Moburst 2019 acquisition of Clutch Studio.
