Battlegrounds Mobile India is now available on Google Play

Popular battle royale game PUBG was banned in India last year over national security concerns due to South Korean developer Krafton’s ties to Tencent. Krafton had promised to bring an extra version of PUBG to the country without any Chinese server connection and made its official announcement in May.

Although it is not yet known when the iOS launch will be made, Battlegrounds Mobile India is now available on Google Play Store.

Battlegrounds Mobile India, which reached more than 40 million downloads in its early access version, is very similar to the previously banned PUBG. The tone of violence has been down, with no blood effects, so it also provides a somewhat unique experience.

Players participating in in-game launch events will be rewarded with free purple outfits and other goodies such as weapon skins and more.
