Amazon seems to be getting ready to launch its Prime Gaming service, which offers users free titles, exclusive gaming content and a free monthly Twitch subscription as part of their Prime membership, in India.

As reported by TechCrunch, the company made several changes to its website signaling the upcoming launch of the service.

“With Prime Gaming (included with your Prime membership) unlock instant access to tons of exclusive content for your favorite games and a rotating collection of PC games…each and every month,” the company wrote below a banner that said ‘’Prime Gaming is now in India’’.

Prime Gaming’s support page also lists India among the countries where the service is available. However, after users began sharing the news on their social media accounts, the company secretly took down some of the references yesterday and now shows an error to those trying to visit the webpage.

The service, which started its journey in the US in 2016 as ‘’Twitch Prime’’ and was renamed as ‘’Prime Gaming’’ in 2020, grew its user base by 120% since then, the company said in August.
