Mobile advertising platform IronSource announced that it has acquired creative management platform Luna Labs, making it its second acquisition in 2021.
Back in January, IronSource announced the acquisition of mobile ad quality measurement platform Soomla to “provide app and game developers with more tools to effectively manage the advertising inside of their apps.” The Israel-founded mobile advertising company IronSource was valued at over $1 billion in its most recent funding round of more than $400 million.

Luna Labs provides a platform for app developers to create, manage, and optimize their playable and video ads.

“Creatives are a key part of that and have only become more important as competition for user attention grows. But ad creative development and testing at scale is incredibly difficult and costly. Luna Labs solves that by bringing high quality end-to-end ad creation management to app developers, and we’re excited to be able to add that capability into the ironSource platform.” Kaplan continued.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Following the acquisition, the Luna Labs team will stay on board in their current offices, and will continue to build and grow their technology, and offer their services to the developers’ community ‘under the ironSource umbrella’.
