TestFly has acquired São Paulo-based game testing company Red Cerberus, signaling a major step in its effort to expand its footprint in the global video game quality assurance (QA) market. The deal aims to enhance TestFly’s international coverage and broaden its service capacity across multiple platforms.
The acquisition brings Red Cerberus’ team of roughly 180 QA professionals into TestFly’s operations. With this integration, TestFly gains access to additional testing infrastructure and around-the-clock service capabilities through a “follow-the-sun” support model, aimed at increasing operational efficiency and responsiveness for game publishers and developers.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement. However, both firms confirmed that Red Cerberus will now operate under the TestFly name. TestFly has begun the integration process, pledging no service interruptions for Red Cerberus’ existing clients and ensuring continued support for employees during the transition.
With new capabilities in Latin America, TestFly now plans to reinforce its services in areas such as automation tools, platform compatibility testing for console, PC, and mobile, and expanded QA coverage. The acquisition also enables TestFly to strengthen its offerings to a wider range of developers, particularly those seeking large-scale, multi-regional quality assurance.
TestFly is part of the BMM Innovation Group (BIG) and offers a full spectrum of QA services, including manual and automated testing, localization, compliance assessments, and functionality reviews. Red Cerberus, prior to the acquisition, had earned recognition in the industry for its in-depth testing practices and support for several well-known game titles.
