Spotify Will Enable Artists to Send Notifications For a Fee

Spotify brings a new feature for artists who share songs on its platform. Artists sharing their songs on Spotify will now be able to send notifications to their listeners for a fee.

Spotify, one of the most popular music listening platforms of recent years, began testing a new feature in the USA. Artists will now be able to send notifications to their fans by paying a certain fee. These notifications will not appear in users’ notification bar and will only appear in full screen when users open the application.

Premium service members will be able to easily disable the feature while those who are not members of the Premium service will keep seeing the notifications.

However, these notifications will not be displayed continuously. If you are constantly listening to an artist’s songs and that artist has paid for Spotify’s new notification service, then you will receive notifications.
