Players spent $840 million in the Epic Games Store in 2021

According to Epic Games Store 2021 Year in Review report, about $840 million was spent through the store in 2021, up 20% from 2020. 

Third-party games represented 36% of all sales with more than $300 million in consumer spending in 2021, up 12% from 2020. 

The number of games currently available on the Epic Games Store is 917, which is nearly double the number in 2020.

Currently, there are more than 194 million Epic Games Store PC users, an increase of 34 million from 2020, according to the company. Daily active users reached 31.1 million and the highest number of concurrent users reached 13.2 million. 

Monthly active user peak in December reached 62 million users, up 11% from last year’s peak of 56 million.
