Popular online game creation platform Roblox just announced that more than half of US kids and teens who are under the age of 16 play Roblox.
Roblox, online game platform founded by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in September 2006, keeps getting more and more popular everyday, especially among the younger generation.
In April 2020, the company told Bloomberg that one third of Americans under 16 played Roblox. According to the figures it has just shared with The Verge, it is now played by more than half of US kids and teens under the age of 16.
In the meantime, Sensor Tower reported that Roblox surpassed $1.5 billion in lifetime player spending.
Also, the company has just launched its Party Place, which was previously used for the One World: Together At Home concert in April, enabling users to host their virtual birthday parties and events.
