Istanbul-based Spektra Games raises $1.25M in seed funding

Istanbul-based mobile gaming studio Spektra Games has raised $1.25 million in a seed funding round that was co-led by Ludus Ventures and The Games Fund, and also saw participation from Alfa Games & Partners.

The Turkish studio was founded in 2020 by Doğukan Şen, Kadir Danışman and Yusuf Demir, with the aim of bringing the most realistic car simulation/racing games to mobile players. 

Since its founding, the studio has released three titles so far, which collectively have surpassed 40 million downloads on app stores. Among them, Parking Master Multiplayer 2, has reached 10 million downloads on its own since its release in last October. 

Commenting on the investment, Spektra Games Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Kadir Danışman said: ‘’As Spektra Games, we have always had a clear focus since our establishment; becoming a studio that produces the most successful games globally in the mobile racing & simulation categories. We released 3 games that allowed us to become a profitable and sustainable company.
