Facebook, one of the most popular social media platform in the world, keeps working to improve its voice detection system. The company, which started a program called “Pronunciations” to collect the necessary data, will pay up to $5 for audio recordings to the users participating in the program. Let’s take a look at the details.
For this program, Facebook’s market research application called Viewpoints will be used. The company has previously offered paid surveys to its users through this application.
The users accepted to the program will be asked to record the phrase “Hey Portal” and the first name of a person on their list.
Participants in the program will have to repeat the statement twice and do it with 10 different names. This will give users 200 points in the Viewpoints app. Those who reach 1000 points will be able to receive the payment. Five sets will be required to reach this limit. Users will be given $ 5 for 1000 points.
It is worth noting that the program is open to users over the age of 18 in the USA.
