Call of Duty: Mobile Controller Support

CoD: Mobile supports official DUALSHOCK®4 PlayStation® 4 and official Xbox One controllers. All versions of official PS4 controllers except first-generation controllers are supported. The popular mobile shooter game supports these controllers only during a match.

Activision says: “If you are playing Battle Royale or a game of MP, controller functionality will work as normal. If you are in a lobby or in-game menu like changing a loadout, you will use the phone’s native controls. Connect your controller before entering a match and switch to controller use before you enter the game or the lobby. Players will be matched with other players also using a controller. If you are playing with a party and one of your party members uses a controller, you will be matched with other players using controllers. If you are playing with the phone’s native controls, you will be matched with other players using the phone’s native controls.”

Call of Duty: Mobile Zombie Mode

CoD: Mobile has a couple of game modes including Battle Royale and Multiplayer and Zombie mode was one of them till March 2020. The Zombie Mode was removed from Call of Duty: Mobile in March 2020 due to “quality” concerns.

The developers of the mobile game made an announcement at the end of February 2020 and they said that “One of the most frequently asked questions to these updates is “what about ZOMBIES Mode?” Today, after extensive evaluation we are sharing that ZOMBIES Mode is being removed on March 25th. We had always mentioned it was limited but with no explicit end-date. We wanted to see the reception, see the feedback, and see how we can potentially shape the mode for the future. However, the mode just didn’t reach the level of quality that we desire. The second map, Nacht Der Untoten, is also not releasing in the global version. We may bring the mode back, with Nacht Der Untoten, once we can make sure it is high enough quality, but for now, we’ll focus on development for Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Ranked Mode.”
