Apple has sent out special invitations to developers for a unique workshop happening at its Cupertino-based Apple Developer Center. The workshop, scheduled for September 27, 2023, aims to help developers enhance the performance of their apps to provide users with the best possible experience.

During this all-day event, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time, developers will delve into the art of optimizing their use of Apple’s tools and frameworks. They’ll also get hands-on experience with identifying and resolving performance problems using tools like Instruments and Xcode Organizer. Apple’s own engineers will be present to offer valuable insights, assist with app testing, and provide advice on improving launch times, reducing hang-ups, managing memory usage, and more.

The best part is that it is absolutely free. However, it’s essential to register as soon as possible, as spots are limited, though it is not known exactly how many are available.

Besides the WWDC events in 2022 and 2023, Apple has occasionally welcomed developers to visit the Developer Center located at Apple Park. The upcoming workshop on September 27 comes right after the introduction of new iPhones on September 12 and is in line with the anticipated release of iOS 17 around September 20- the first public beta of it was released last month

Apple didn’t bring the ability to sideload apps with the first beta of its iOS 17, however, it was reported last month that the company was still planning to comply with the new European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) requirements

At WWDC 2023 the company shared its latest updates, including its new VR headset Apple Vision Pro, iOS 17, new features that will be released with it later this year including Sensitive Content Warning, new App Store privacy features, and also the winners of 2023 Apple Design Awards

In addition, in a post released on September 5, Apple has announced that iPhone and iPad apps will be readily accessible on the visionOS’ App Store upon its launch.
